EXPANDED RIGID PVC SOLID CORE Used in NON-STRESS bearing applications Resistant to rot, moisture, splitting, and delamination Can be painted with a high quality PASTEL colored ACRYLIC LATEX paint. DARK COLORS ARE NOT RECOMMENDED. Will not sustain growth of spores, mold, or mildew Highly recommended for HIGH HUMIDITY areas Can be shaped, formed, and installed like wood. Use traditional woodworking tools with carbide tips Glues using standard construction adhesives (PL Premium) PVC TRIM IS NON-RETURNABLE Can be hand or power nailed (small rust proof nails) Flush nail or Countersink Start nailing in middle and work to ends. ** DO NOT TACK BOTH ENDS AND WORK TO MIDDLE. ** ------------------------------------------------------------ Drill using bits designed for "wood use" Slower RPM reduces heat & buildup on bits ------------------------------------------------------------ Properly nailed material 18' will expand or contract 1/8" in length for every 50 degree temperature change.
